setting up network

Setting up Network

Hi, I am having trouble setting up my network since I installed Vista. prior to installing vista all four machines worked were accessable on the network. main machine ran XP Pro, 2 other desktops on XP Home, and laptop on XP Home. All were connected wireless to a Belkin ADSL F5D7633 Router 2 machines use Belkin F5D7000 cards and this one used F5D7001 card. Since installing Vista my main machine has to be connected using a wired connection as my Belkin card will not work now that Vista is installed.
The machines that run XP can still see each other on the network, the vista machine cannot see any other computer nor can it be seen by the others. I have mapped the network and this is the only machine that shows up in the network.
How do I set this network up from scratch using vista.? I'm starting to lose it now and am considering switching back to XP which I don't really want to as Vista is running well apart from this small problem. Network setup was so much easier in XP.
Thanking you in advance. -- Ghost

Hello,
Please go to Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network Center
Under the network that is giving you a problem:
- If under Network category it says Public, please click the Change to Private link next to it. - If under Discovery and Sharing it says Block, Please click the Allow button.
Does this help?

Thanks for the tip. I finally managed to get it all up and running. -- Ghost
